Roan Vollmer
Roan became a PGA of Canada professional in 2001, and joined the revered Oakdale Golf & Country Club Professional team in 2008. In his third season at Oakdale, he was appointed to the position of Oakdale’s Director of Golf. Roan is committed to a long-term relationship with Oakdale Golf & Country Club, and will do everything possible to provide exemplary service to the prestigious membership and to represent the club within the golfing community.
Bob Beauchemin
Bob has been a part of the Oakdale family for 16 years. Playing professional golf around the world, Bob’s career has included one year on the PGA Tour (1981), and 11 years on the World Tours. He was also the Commissioner of the Canadian Tour from 1986 to 1993. In addition to being a great player, Bob is a wonderful teacher as well: in 2006, he was voted one of Canada’s Top 50 instructors by the National Post. The following year, Bob was honoured as a lifetime member of the Canadian tour.

Wilf Homenuik
Wilf has been at Oakdale Golf & Country Club for 30 years. His playing career, which included 10 years on the PGA Tour, is well-documented. In honour of his successful career, Wilf was made a member of the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame in 2005. In recognition of Wilf’s affiliation with Oakdale Golf & Country Club, the 2nd nine has been named in his honour. A two time C.P.G.A. Champion, Wilf is available for teaching and playing with the members and juniors.

Jacob Altenberg
Jacob has been involved in the golf business for 12 years. He graduated in 2010 from the Professional Golf Management program at Georgian College. He obtained his Class “A” Status from the PGA of Canada in 2014 and has since continued to enhance his knowledge of the golf swing and business. He spent the 2015 season at The National Golf Club of Canada as the Associate Professional, where he became passionate about the Private Club side of golf. Jacob is looking forward to the pleasure of meeting the members and serving their needs with the upmost level of professionalism.

John Steven Giannantonio
John-Steven is now entering his 4th year as a part of the Oakdale team and has 2 years of schooling with Humber for Professional Golf Management completed. He brings the highest level of member service skills day in and day out learned from experiences in school as well as the work field. Working his way up from a back-shop role in his first year, John-Steven uses his experiences to guide new employees in the outside operation.

Izidor Markic
Izidor turned professional in 1998, and fuelled by his passion for the golf swing, created Rhythmic Golf two years later. He was a lead instructor at Core Golf Academy Guangzhou China, and his expertise has landed him various appearances on Breakfast Television. In addition to his role as an instructor at Oakdale, he is both a lead Golf Course Coordinator and Caddie Master.

William Meehan
William is joining Oakdale Golf & Country Club this season from Melbourne Australia. He has recently completed his PGA of Australia education and is a fully qualified Golf Professional. William has been Assistant Professional at Victoria Golf Club for the past 3 years. He has consistently proven to have wonderful relationships with the membership at Victoria GC and will always strive to provide excellent service to the respected membership at Oakdale. William has been a very competitive player in his time as a Professional, winning multiple times on the Australian Pro-Am circuit and plans on continuing his playing in Canada.

Richard Stark
Richard has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry and partnered this with his passion for the game of golf in 2010. Richard achieved his Class “A” professional status within 5 years and strives to create a memorable experience for members and guests.

Russell Poloni
Russell is a recent graduate of the Humber Professional Golf Management program heading into his second year as a PGA of Canada Professional and his first as Assistant Professional at Oakdale. He is excited to bring his passion for the game of golf and exceptional customer service skills to the members of Oakdale Golf & Country Club.
