In 2023 and 2026, the world’s eyes will be on Oakdale.

After an extensive selection process, Oakdale was picked to host the RBC Canadian Open, the country’s most prominent male professional championship. The event will be held on a composite routing from Oakdale’s 27-holes, which were designed by legendary Canadian golf designer Stanley Thompson and Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member Robbie Robinson. The entire 27 holes were renovated in recent years by noted Canadian restoration expert Ian Andrew.

Though the club opened in 1926, these tournaments will be the first times that Oakdale has hosted the RBC Canadian Open. Its classic parkland design is sure to be enjoyed by the best golfers in the world, just as it has been by the club’s members for nearly a century. In fact, the 2026 event will coincide with the club’s historic centennial anniversary, and be a celebration of Oakdale’s legacy with the sport and deep connection to the local community.

We’re thrilled to welcome the golfing world to Oakdale in 2023 and 2026—and hope you’ll come and join us to cheer golfing legends as they challenge themselves at one of Canada’s most historic clubs.
